ARAMBROOK BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Newlands: Originally this house was designed for a family. It is nestled below the slopes of Table mountain and Kirstenbosch. The house has been renovated to an upmarket guest house completely reworking the existing bathrooms and living areas, including the addition of lounges, wine cellars and conference rooms. This upmarket guest house is frequented by local and foreign visitors alike.

HOPE HOUSE

Oranjezicht: A family home of Victorian nature, originally has been transformed into a guest house with additional of wine cellars, a pool and spas and various other features. This three storey building has maintained its original style, and some contemporary additions to the interior. Situated close to Mount Nelson, it is utilised as a guest house and a home for the visiting owners.

HOUSE BARROW

Camps Bay: The original house was over 20 years old, with a Wheatstone face brick façade, intertwined with prominent concrete elements. The substantial alteration and addition involved a complete overhaul, internally and externally, with the addition of two floors for the new bedrooms, garage extension and a high-level rim flow pool and deck. The house is marketed as a high end guest house to local and overseas visitors.   

HOUSE BAUM

Bishopscourt: An existing house positioned on an elevated plot was completely demolished. The plot gradients were reimagined to accommodate a new build with substantial retaining walls, pool and landscaping requirements.

HOUSE BROSENS

Constantia: This incredible house is positioned between Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia Farms. This was an 18 month project with the additions of various new builds including underground wine cellars, stables structures, carved out of excessive earthworks to allow for a continuous garden cover, outhouses and a new natural pool, fed by numerous lay water furrows.  The house boasts a combination of new and old, leaving one intrigued at its design and features.  

HOUSE HODGSON

Bishopscourt: This magnificent home is nestled under the slopes of Table Mountain with incredible views over the Newlands Valley. The structure is suspended on a sequence of ground beams and piles. The home consists of sleek lines and finishes combined with the soft look of timber cladding. The landscaped garden combined with moss covered boulders gives one the impression of an existing river bed. This house has won numerous awards and is completely self sustaining, including boreholes, water purification plants and solar-driven electricity.

HOUSE STRINGFELLOW

Ou Wingerd Road: This magnificent new Tuscan built home is situated on the boundary of Groot Constantia. The build was constructed on various levels, suspended on many piles and ground beams, incorporating numerous sleeping quarters, lounges, cinemas, gyms and kids playrooms. The warm interior boasts high double volume areas with crafted poplar beams, blended together in double volume spaces. The landscaped garden includes a tennis court, rim flow pool and spa and other features like Koi ponds and gazebos. The house’s water reticulation system is fed by boreholes and a filtration system which is positioned beneath the house structure.   

HOUSE PACACK

Bishopscourt:  This house sits on the slopes of Bishopscourt, facing South. It entailed a complete alteration with the addition of a new Eastern Wing, incorporating a braai area, main bedroom and pool room, below. Substantial external works were completed during construction, including new retaining walls, driveway, pool and various hard landscaping requirements.
